Terrabambu Lodge - Mindo

The views from the cabin were absolutely breathtaking, and the cabin itself was stunning. We spent hours enjoying the scenery and watching the local wildlife. the amenities offered were impressive, including a personal hot tub on the cabin balcony and a beautiful pool. the location was also convenient, with easy access to nearby activities and attractions.

There were a few downsides to our stay. the hot water in the cabin was not consistent, which made for uncomfortable showers.

As a business traveler, I was impressed by the range of wildlife right at the lodge, including toucans, hummingbirds, and agoutis. The spacious and cute cabana with a beautiful view was perfect for relaxation. The outdoor tub on the balcony was a highlight, especially during rain showers. The location is convenient for walking to the town and attractions like the ziplines and cable car. The breakfast was lovely, and the onsite restaurant served delicious food. The staff was helpful, and filtered water was provided.

I had an amazing stay at a lodge in a beautiful location. The views of the private cabins were amazing, with a mix of modern architecture and traditional Ecuadorian style. The well-maintained grounds and serene heated pool added to the overall tranquility. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I even enjoyed watching birds from the outside deck of the restaurant, creating a nice and romantic experience. The complimentary bottle of red wine from the manager was a generous touch.

The value for money at Terrabambu Lodge was excellent, and the room was cozy and comfortable. The location was perfect, close enough to town but away from the noise, and the staff treated us with great care and friendliness.

The breakfast selection could have been more varied.

We had the most very nice bird-watching experience right from our breakfast table at Terrabambu. Tanagers, motmots, and hummingbirds were just a few of the beautiful species we spotted. The amazing views and comfortable cabins added to the overall charm of our stay. I highly recommend this lodge.

There was nothing I didn't like.

We got excellent value for our money at Terrabambu Lodge. The room was fine and we loved being able to see birds from our bed and jacuzzi bath. The location was perfect, with beautiful views and easy access to the town.

Breakfast option could be improved by providing refillable water stations instead of using plastic bottles.

The location of the hotel offers stunning scenery and a beautiful view of the surrounding nature. The well-manicured grounds and proximity to a cloud forest make it a perfect spot for nature lovers. Additionally, the breakfast served at the hotel is delicious, providing a great start to the day.

Some guests have mentioned that the lack of handrails in the showers can be dangerous, especially if the shower floor gets slippery.

The grounds were well-maintained and the heated pool was a great feature. the staff was friendly and helpful, ensuring that we felt welcomed and taken care of throughout our stay.

The room had a persistent mold smell, which was quite noticeable and detracted from the overall experience. The showers also left something to be desired, as they were not up to the standards we expected.
